The Taste of Home Cooking School will be back in Clinton on May 6th! Piggly Wiggly is a major sponsor of this event as we furnish the food for the event as well as bags full of groceries and a bunch of free items for attendees. If you like to watch the Food Network, you’ll be right at home here! Come out and join in the fun in this community event. Vendor booths will be open at 4pm and the show will start at 6. You can get your tickets at Piggly Wiggly at Jordan Plaza or Shamrock Plaza. Save a few bucks by getting them in advance. Actually, you probably want to get them in advance to insure you get a ticket! Last year was sold out and with all the positive comments of last years show, I am absolutely sure that this year will sell out as well.

Goodness really does grow in NC! We are celabrating NC products on Thursday, April 15, 2010! When we heard that the Goodness Grows people, from the NC Dept of Agriculture, were coming to Clinton, we decided to make a fun day of it! The Giant Shopping Cart will be here along with Mr. Pig and LOTS of NC Vendors giving away merchandise and prizes. Here is a list of what we have so far!
