Customer service at the Roseboro Store is horrible. You immediately notice it when you first walk into the store. You dont see many smiles and most of them act like they dont want to even be there. While checking out you never get so much as a hello and some of the cashiers are too busy talking to notice the customer. I worked at the Jordan Plaza Store for 14 years and we were always taught the customer comes first. There needs to be some personality training at this store.

What about the ORIGINAL Piggly Wiggly jingle that they used to play in the stores. It went like this: When you walk in, till you checkout, you're in a better mood, when you shop at Piggly Wiggly buying Piggly Wiggly food. Satisfaction is the reason Piggly Wiggly is preferred, that's why satisfaction is a Piggly Wiggly word.

And yes, I can sign it as well, Much to the displeasure of many young children in my family, as I do so whenever we pass a Piggly Wiggly on trips.

Although it seems to be a spreading trend, I have noticed it more frequently at your Jordan Plaza location, friendly attitude. Not only are your personnel friendly and courteous, but it is not uncommon, when customer level is low, that your personnel will not only provide information on location of items, but on a number of occasions, staff has told me to wait while they went to retrieve the item in question.

Maybe this attitude of friendliness is due to the current faltering economic situation and employees are concerned about job security, but throughout Clinton, there has been a marked improvement in the way business staff treats the customers. Let us pray that it continues on, even after a new administration begins to bring the economy back into focus.
